love the way Judd Winick has been writing Catwoman lately.
Please God in Heaven help me, I really like the way he writes Selina when she’s on her own, just dealing with her own shit. It gets too raunchy and dirty whenever Batman is involved (or when she has to seduce????? someone), but I think he writes her well enough on her own.
She’s learning, she makes rookie mistakes and gets a bit emotional. It’s different, but I don’t feel like Winick is making her be clumsy or a wreck in a way that plays on female stereotypes too much, but it certainly helps make her feel more human and like we’re seeing what really lies behind the ~*femme fatale*~.
